Simple and effective power manager
If your laptop or PC came with a power management tool, then you won't find any use for AllOff at all.
However, if it didn't, then AllOff can make sure that your PC doesn't suffer from burnout while you are away for long periods or if you've left it downloading for a specific period of time. AllOff basically detects when there is no keyboard or mouse activity and can shut down, suspend or hibernate your system. You can define to the second, when you want it to shutdown or through such variables as when the CPU use reaches a certain threshold.
There's nothing particularly special about that, I hear you say. That's true but the unique aspect of AllOff is that it can also synchronize shutdowns with PCs in other physical locations. So for example, if you want to synchronize the shutdown of your PC at home with your one at work, you can do with the AllOff Slave module.
